The New Yellowpages, YP.com

Yellowpages.com is now YP.com. It seems like all of the major websites have been doing some redesigning lately, from Google, Facebook, Youtube, and now Yellowpages. The new website YP.com starts off with a shorter URL for ease of memorization. Their search functions has improved to bring about more relevant results. The search results page has been redesigned to somewhat mimic that of Google's, with organic, or free listings on the left and paid sponsored listings on the right and top. They have also added a map function to diagram the location of the companies. All in all it seems like YP.com is more up to date than the older version, Yellowpages.com.

What will this mean?
In our goal to becoming the exclusive party services directory we seek to be more valuable to companies advertising, therefore, we are reducing our advertising prices to be affordable for startup companies as well as established companies.

3) Improving company profile pages with videos.

What will this mean?
Companies advertising in our directory will be able to include a video about their company on their company profile page. Companies will be able to upload or connect their videos from Youtube.

4) Implement party tips and article submissions from companies advertising in our directory.

What will this mean?

One of the primary missions of Party Jump USA is to keep advertising simple and not confuse customers or advertising companies while they are trying to get connected. Therefore, we have revamped and redesigned the whole layout of the website in an effort to further simplify how customers find local party rental companies. The new design has a more playful and vibrant color scheme which is ideal for party rental companies because they want to portray fun and excitement as well as being more visually pleasing to the eye.

The new design of the home page drives customers directly to the search function so they can find what their looking for without being distracted by too much text or pictures. Website home pages that are filled with excessive texts or photos only complicate the user by making them search for their desired function. With the new home page design the customers will find exactly what they are looking for as soon as they open the page, and thats the search box.



Also the new company profile pages will no longer have the directory logo or the affiliated advertisement boxes on the top, meaning the first thing customers see when they land on your company profile page is your company name, logo and the city you are servicing. This makes the company profile page more like a company website than a listing in a directory because their is no other company's logo or contact information displayed.
